What you need:
2 chicken breasts, pounded
¼ cup Kikkoman
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup sifted flour
Dash of ground black pepper
4 tablespoons of sesame seeds
Canola cooking oil for deep frying
For the sauce:
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 knob of ginger, thinly sliced
1 ¼ cup of water
1 table spoon of cornstarch
¼ cup of Kikkoman
2 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
What you need to do:
♥ Mix the soysauce, salt, pepper and sesame seeds.
♥ Marinate the chicken into the soysauce mixture for 30 minutes.
♥ Coat the chicken with flour.
♥ Deep fry. Slice into "chicken tonkatsu cut"
♥ Set aside.
Make the sauce.
♥ On a sauce pan, pour 1 cup of water. Put the ginger and garlic. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
♥ Pour the remaining water, the add the soysauce, hoisin, cornstarch. Continue stirring until the sauce gets thick.
♥ Serve the sauce on the side.
