Wonton ground beef triangles

As posted below, my family loves to munch lumpia not just as a part of the viand, but also an appetizer. To add spice, and for a change, I tried making the Wonton Ground Beef Triangles. So basically, this is just like a normal lumpiang shanghai, it’s just that the wrapper is a wonton wrapper. (Ingredients and procedures are posted below)

Ingredients:
¼ ground beef
1 teaspoon sesame oil
10 stems of kuchay (Chinese leek)
25 pieces of wonton wrappers
Salt and pepper for tasting
Canola oil for deep frying
1 egg lightly beaten for brushing
Ready-made chili sauce

Procedures:
Mix all ingredients (except the canola oil and wonton wrappers)

Place a teaspoonful of mixture in the center of the wonton wrapper. Brush edge lightly with beaten eggs and fold in half to enclose filling and make a triangle. Make sure to pinch the edges of the wrapper to seal it.

Repeat with the rest of the mixture.

Deep fry and make sure to drain the excess oil in tissue paper.

Serve with chili sauce on the side.
